Being in the middle can be challenging, however in Scott’s case, his role requires it. He bridges the gap between customers and Solecta to ensure that the customer has success with their membrane system. Scott has the unique perspective of being both a customer and a supplier as he has over 20 years of experience with membrane systems in those roles.
His technical background adds to his expertise with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification as well.
In his role, he works in partnership with customers to gain a deep understanding their needs and translates that to the Solecta production team in order to provide the right solutions to solve the customer’s problems. His favorite quote by Lao Tzu sums up his viewpoint, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.”
