In his role, CJ and his team develop improved membrane solutions by understanding customer needs, translating those needs into testable metrics, and finally designing and optimizing the membrane and element to best meet those needs.
CJ is a 24-year veteran of the membrane treatment industry with a breadth of experience in the research and development departments of Osmonics, GE Water and Process Technologies, NanoH2O and Nanostone Water. During his tenure Mr. Kurth was awarded 25 US patents for new membrane chemistries, cartridges, devices, production processes and applications, and has led teams developing new membrane products (polymeric and ceramic, MF/UF/NF/RO) from early stage lab work through full scale commercial launches. He has extensive experience in IP strategy development and portfolio management, and corporate R&D strategic planning. Mr. Kurth holds BS and MS degrees in chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
