Solecta Hires Dr. Melinda Burn as Vice President, Strategic Marketing

Solecta, a global leader in process membrane technology and solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Melinda Burn to its team as Vice President, Strategic Marketing. In this role, Melinda will lead the development and implementation of the long-term growth strategy for Solecta into new markets, applications and geographies. Melinda will collaborate with clients, partners, and Solecta’s commercial, technical and engineering teams to reinforce and expand Solecta’s market leadership. Melinda Headshot

Melinda comes to Solecta from Solenis LLC, where she was Vice President, Global Strategic Marketing and Innovation for the Industrial Water Technologies business. Melinda has extensive experience in the specialty chemical industry across multiple end-use markets in research, manufacturing, product management, sales, marketing and business leadership roles. She has worked for a number of the leading chemical companies, including DuPont, Invista, Hercules, Ashland and most recently, Solenis, both domestically and internationally.

Melinda received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and has completed Executive Business and Marketing programs at the Wharton Business School, Avery Institute of Executive Education and the SMEAL College of Business, Penn State University.
