Director of Equipment Engineering & Facilities
Eric has over 25 years of experience in engineered solutions. His prior experience includes 12 years in data storage, and 13 years in photovoltaics, automating processes and equipment for high volume manufacturing.
As the Director of Equipment Engineering & Facilities, his role is to specify and procure world class production equipment for Solecta, in order to manufacture high quality products. He is also responsible for the membrane and element production facilities.
Eric brings experience from several Fortunate 500 companies including Seagate Technology, Shell, Siemens, GE, and Tesla, where he managed engineering teams in multiple industries. He also led factory expansion programs, both domestic and international, to rapidly grow manufacturing capacity and throughput.
His accomplishments have been influenced by Martin Luther King, Junior, and this quote from him sums it up well, “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
